Dan, this new Kenwood HT is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I didn't realize it would receive HF!!!!!! Wow. I'm REALLY impressed. I can hear WWV no problem on 15 MHz. I haven't noticed any intermod yet. Let me know when the amplifier comes in. I sent the insurance paperwork off just a while ago. Thanks again, Neil

The TH-F6A is fantastic.Received 40M sigs with only the internal bar antenna. No overload in this town, either, so far. Very easy to program and set up. Able to QSO without looking at manual. Wow.

Ken-F6--  No intermod here.  Rec HF as well as any receiver (has some hash noise) on DXCC wire...Chicken band also fine (who cares)..VHF as good as KW-71A..  220 good also..  Really shines on UHF & higher...Brodcast FM excellent also...U can sell it to anyone..  On HF make sure to tell them to disable the internal bar antenna..when on outside ant..  Ads say 4 power levels--only 3..  Would be great on FRS freqs too...  CTCSS is a little trickey to prog. manual not clear on that  (i'm stupid?)HI HI  Later, & thanks--Van
